I could tell Moon Sik had gone insane from the hints they gave, but to me it wasn't super obvious for everyone to notice, as well I felt it was just a lazy way to finish off his part in the story. I didn't like the actress playing in City Hunter with Lee Min Ho. I bought this a long time ago but I didn't because I thought it's kinda boring. I'm sure another episode would work as an epilogue. I love the chemistry of Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young.. There will always be a rainbow no matter how many storms comes.... ) This is by far, one of the best kdramas I've watched, and the only drama that i actuallly watched w/out skipping scenes. 10/10 :) Love this drama, not only because its my favorite genre but also because PMY and JCW have great chemistry and superb acting! JCW is now on my top list of fave kpop star followed by Kim so hyun and Lee Minho. Though lot of people commented this is part 2 of "City Hunter" which i disagreed to it. OMG this drama is so cool good sweet fantastic wonderful amazing. But i also want to say that Jung Hoo's father is so handsome esp. They understand each other, care for each other, aren't afraid of showing their love, and most of all, they trust each other wholeheartedly.
I also felt that compared to how strongly affected Myunghee was about the incident with her child at the beginning, it felt like how she reacted at finding out that her daughter was alive the whole time kind of underwhelming. The first episode captured my heart already and I must say that it's the BEST kdrama I've ever watched so far! The last episode was pretty good though, it had everything that I loved about the show. You may not like the lead cast..saying that it's boring???? I have became so obsessed with him that I find myself stuck on my IPhone all day everyday for the past month and a half. Im so glad i watched this accidentally now re-watching it over again, i even memorized some of the lines!! It may have similarities to other dramas but the difference is the flow and the chemistry... Became a fan of the two and also Yoo Ji Tae and everybody in the cast. Ji Chang Wook & Park Min Young do portrayed well in their role. especially JI CHANG WOOK OMG OMG OMG OMG he is the coolest and the handsome actor that i ever saw... So I just finished watching healer last nigt and the only word that comes to mind is "amazing". Park Min Young's character here was charming and cute! Some other stupid main female lead, if having seen misleading information about her lover's father who possibly killed hers, would definitely have dragged out the drama and anger and silent treatment to 3-4 episodes.
Meanwhile, with the help of Kim Moon-Ho, internet reporter Chae Young-Shin (Park Min-Young) and Seo Jung-Hoo (Ji Chang-Wook), known as "Healer," grow into real reporters. It not easy to jump there and here from high place.that curly ajjuma is cute.. That "spy" guy OBVIOUSLY is very loyal to Kim Moon Ho, and he "betrayed" kim moon shik, it was only mentioned there that he's giving reports to Kim moon Shik... Well, who would've thought there would be Yong Pal hehehe.... But man, just on the half of the episode 1, I said I will definitely finish it till the end.. It followed a new theme in recently aired korean dramas. i wish i could see what other people see in this drama but i don't.ahjumma rocks - one of the best older female characters in kdrama and the acting was solid, but for me the drama just didn't click.
Perfect blend of action, comedy and a bit suspense especially when the truth has been revealed. The storylines, the acting, the dialogue, the chemistry all there. 20 episodes and every single one of them is gripping- those who watch K dramas regularlycan understand this in itself is an incredible feat. Trying to watch more Kdramas, but Healer is really incomparable.... Can someone here tell me where is the scene that show little chae young sin has been a victim of physical assault that make her becomes trauma of violence ? And what happened to little chae yong sin that after being picked by kim moon shik, and stopped by convenience store to buy drink, she followed someone who looked like her mother and then how did she suddenly end up in a high way ? And how about the news articles about the kim moon sik himself ? And the romance, wow, you can feel that they are really madly in love!! masked prosecutor is another kdrama secret identity show coming out soon. kill me heal me has the whole mystery from the past, and angry mom feature the powerless fighting the powerful. I wonder it doesnt have any awards for the story, it also has social relevance... He's an AMAZING actor & portrays the character perfectly. The plot is great and every episode are so good, love every junghoo-youngshin moment their chemistry omg just perfect. Love ji chang wook, his portraial as healer/park bong soo/seo junghoo is spot on, oppa fighting!I totally, totally loved all the supporting cast (even the evil ones). The special about this drama was how the scripwriter managed to turn superman character from fantasy to the real world. The PD managed not let the sorrow prolong n twist to funny scene. Love the chemistry between JCW n PMY and JCW n the ajumma. Both characters (lead actor n actors) so strong, mature n funny. Every last scenes of each eps mkes you wnt more and yearn for it more and bbamm! Btw thx for the answer, but i couldn't understand abt the law you mention in here, does the police say that there is no law to stop cyber news ? ji chang wook and park min young did the best...i would like to see more dramas with these lead roles together they make a good couple...i loove it!! Just like the questions of many people, what happened to the mother and young shin's... Im not korean, but a huge fan of Kdramas, and I feel so happy and proud about this production.... Seriously, there have been dramas that have caught my attention but didn't take me to the end. if its the romance you like, although i dont understand it, a friend has compared it to queen inhyuns man can i ask why people compare this to pinocchio??? Cant get over it, its my 5th time re-watching it and counting! Everything about it made it spectacular but the thing that made it stand out the most was the OST that pushed the drama to it's highest limits. Because it's the writing that makes this drama standout.Loved the humour and the action scenes the most, I love how the cast were able to pull off the drama characters so naturally... One of my favourites, I've my exams coming ahead but yet I can't stop watching this lovely drama again and again.. The best motivation I learnt from this drama was 'Do not run out of trouble but try to solve it' - Healer character. How come I never questioned anything on this drama... Healer had reached the finale ep (though the plot was obviously slowed down in the last 2 episodes but bbam! Wish and hope a lot of good drama's come his way (not the empress ki kind! I know he is a very loyal friendbut i think he still report any situation to his kim moon ho brother ( idk if he concealed some of the informations because there is no mentioning abt this in the drama ) Anyways healer is a great drama and i love it !! Gosh i still feel weak with the chemistry of pbs and cys... Looking forward to a season 2, thinking that the ending is like that because of a sequel.. Well yeah, for me let it stay that way, cause her mother usually have seizure attacks whenever the topic is about her daughter, so how much more if she knew it, she will be extremely happy and that might be the end of her life! They may not be so popular with the ratings but Im wishing that international award giving bodies would recognize them for whatever categories... they seem completely different to me - things in common reporters, good acting, great female characters and a few writing isues like you know witch's romance. Ji Chang Wook was freaaaaking DAEBAK with the action scenes and when he acted weak as a Park Min-Young's colleague but he was always there for her when she was in danger. This drama takes the cup with it's genre of ROMANCE/ACTION! he is one awesome actor, i like his chacracter in this drama and his acting is quite impressive he acted naturally and i loved he's facial expressions in every scene plus he's handsome!!! But I can't imagine someone else captures Kim Moonho as perfect as Yoo Jitae did.Yes she cried about it, but in all honesty if a mother that had loss of control whenever her child was mentioned suddenly seemed fine at finding out her child was there the whole time, it kind of seems fake. I just can't think of anything that will excite you... I even searched for writer's interview, and i was so impressed..... (Before was secret garden) i just luckily found my type of kdrama. Just this June 2015, I discovered this Drama "Healer"by listening to MLTR song "Eternal Love" on You Tube. JCW caught my eyes instantly cuz he is Super Handsome. As soon as I learned that this handsome guy is in a Drama, I then decided to watch it. LOVE all the sweet scenes of these healer couple as they make all fans breathtaking. The cast was really good and the actors really played their parts well! Maybe I gonna change my idol into Ji Chang Wook much but he is so tanlent and very handsome_A ideal boy which I dreamed. and everytime Ji chang wook smile or sometimes smirk! But Yeong Shin absolutely exceeded my expectations and I love her for that. can I just say that he is absolutely the most perfect boyfriend/lover/husband?! Anyway, romantic gushing aside, I think that some parts of the drama could have definitely been wrapped up a bit better. It's really frustrated situation, especially for film makers and writers. And she has got really great chemistry with JCW, they were cute together and really worthed as the best couple of the year :) Those who are all wondering whatever happened to the other characters, the writer has a plan for all of them.
I'm also still curious about Jung Hoo's relationship with his mother, I know he ended the relation, but I still can't believe he'd end something just like that either. Ride the roller coaster of America and am sure this will wake you up.... This may not be the best Korean drama ever played on TV but mind you it's one hell of excitement (I've watched it so many times) and the romance..story..will make you feel what love ( for anybody on that matter) can make to a person... Yes its my First time to be "obsessed with kdrama", and i just bought the director's cut too.... The bts, and there's even more unaired scenes thats why i bought the dvd for this.... I experienced new things which I've never done with the past dramas I've watched before. I love this drama so much I give it Ten Stars Rating. After watching the whole episodes, I found myself watching it over and over again. Ji chang wook is a really talented man i love him to moon and back. Their fashion, music-- i wish its already out in i-tunes, even the celphone ringtones!! Ji Chang Wook is good in choosing his project role. It's free to disagree with my comment but in terms of drama for me Kim Moon ho doesn't fit on my standard : D . Directors just get Yoo Ji-Tae as Kim moon ho because He resembles as Park Sang-Won as Kim moon sik . This is the first time I've watched a korean drama and had absolutely NO complaints about anything (acting, plot, cast, etc) the only thing I would've liked is that they showed us what happened to the Elder and Kim Moon Shik and all, Youngshin and her mom together, and of course Junghoo and Youngshin after everything that's happened BUUT that isn't the director's fault because apparently the ratings in SK were bad which I really don't get though like ???? And let's not forgot the OST and everyone's backstories. For example, we never really see all of the Elder and Kim Moon Shik's bad deeds being exposed. In one side, they have this great ideas, but they stuck with the rating isues. But i love Healer even more because of its sense of humour make this drama keep me watched it till the end. Because of the lack of time, they were not able to film them, so it was a bit rushed.
There's many aspects of the story that seem to still be open to me. :") I had lots of high expectations for this drama since it had such high ratings, and while there were a lot of good moments here and there, as well as really good characters and interesting plots, I felt there were many aspects missing. Not to spoil anything for anyone but while in the beginning there were many interesting scenes that got audience's attention, as the show progressed the meaning of these scenes seemed to be forgotten. I even bought a director's cut dvd which is my first time and is very very expensive but it's all worth it. Ji chang wook/healer is soo wonderfully awesome in here. Healer is the part 2 of "Sandglass" or "Hourglass" series that was a huge hit in the 1990's. I've seen PMY in many other roles and I can tell how much she's matured as an actress. I just can't get enough of JI Chang Wook's handsome face. JCW is the most sexiest hottest man in Korea ever so far. If you've seen City Hunter and loved it, this is going to bring back them feels~. Now, it's been nearly 20 hours since I finished it and I'm so gutted that I have nothing to look forward to now. Watch him in Healer and he will make u melt with his hotness. Apart after Empree Ki drama, this is another his recognition successful acting as Seo Junh Hoo. : D This Drama is not fully appreciated by Koreans because of it's Bad rating. Before i start watching this drama , i read all the comments on every page about this drama . Too good lmao it's taking me a long time to move on. This is an Action Drama, Romance, Comedy, packed all in one. The main lead actor and actress did a good job, they are nice to look at, both very passionate with their love, so much in love with each other, very real, very sincere! Moreover, I demand a second season, because I'd love to see my dream team H4 fight those who are behind the Elder. I've never watched Ji Chang Wook before, I skipped Empress Ki because it's too long for my preference. there is no words to describe how wonderful is #Healer . And, just like Cheon Song Yi have said in one scene, the audiences today are really mean sometimes. If you guys are able to read the Q&A with writer Song Ji Na, she explained some of the unfilled scenes.
